This year's 100 Women of Influence is presented by Qantas. The Australian Financial Review’s Women of Influence program is committed to increasing the visibility of women’s leadership in Australia, highlighting the important contribution women make in creating a bold and diverse future for Australia.
We want to uncover and promote Australian women who have dedicated their time and energy to help and encourage other women in their industry, and who are fighting for change every day – be it in their workplace, their community or among their peers.
We are proud to say Berne Gibbons is among an amazing group of the AFR's 100 women of influence; Executive Director at Vitro Software, Berne was selected under the category Social Enterprise and Not-for-profit:
Berne Gibbons has been committed to advancing digital health for more than 15 years and was consulted to deliver a strategic interoperability framework for healthcare systems in Australia. Berne is a founding member of the Medical Cannabis Council, member of the Dean of Health Advisory Board at University of Technology, Sydney (UTS), a member of the Chris O’Brien Lifehouse Integrative Medicine Committee, board member of Pathfinders and an associate professor of Healthcare Industry at UTS.
