Vitro Software Pty Ltd announced that it has appointed Philip Small to its board of directors effective of June 28th, 2019.

"We are pleased to welcome Philip Small as an independent director to the board of Vitro Software’s Australian subsidiary” said David Nash, Vitro Software’s Chairman, and CEO. “Philip joins Vitro at an exciting time as we increase our presence in the Australian market and build deeper relationships with our customers."

About Philip Small

Philip Small has held senior management roles in IT companies in Australia and Europe including Computer Sciences, Continuum and Paxus. He has been a director or adviser to a number of software companies including;

  • Paxus, an Australian software company that became the leading provider of software to the European insurance industry
  • Fineos, an Irish software company providing claims management and insurance administration software worldwide
  • Earth Resource Mapper, a provider of geospatial imagery technology
  • Map Data Sciences, a specialist in business mapping solutions
  • Empower HR, a payroll and HR software company
  • Synchronised Software, a wealth management software company
  • Claim Central, a provider of claim management services and insurance technology
  • Meridian Health Informatics, a provider of maternity and clinical software across Australia

Philip graduated with a BEc in Economics from the University of Sydney and received a MSc in Economics from London University. He is currently a director of Konekt Limited, an ASX listed Human Services company, providing employment opportunities to the unemployed, disabled and injured. Konekt also offers Workplace Mental Health, Safety and consulting solutions.
