Kim Gilbert-O'Dowd will be making two presentations. One is a poster session based on Sláinte Healthcare's Digital Medical Record project with Bendigo Health. The second presentation is on Calvary Healthcare's Bethlehem hospital, Kim will be presenting together with Brenda Ainsworth, Director Public Hospitals Calvary Health Care.

Bendigo Health's Digital Medical Record (DMR) journey includes integrating with over 60 legacy systems; it will allow for collaboration across the region with a focus on integration and interoperability, it will grow as the population grows using the latest cloud technology for scalability and most Importantly will be flexible enough to meet the diverse range of needs within their facility. The new 700 bed Bendigo Health Facility will open in November 2015. This poster session will outline the steps that we are taking on this journey.

"A re-visit to the Bethlehem e-Clinical Record Project"
Sláinte Healthcare's main presentation with the help of Brenda Ainsworth, Director Public Hospitals Calvary Health Care will revisit to the Bethlehem Project; lessons learned & the future rollout - Bethlehem became a paperless hospital in 2014 using Vitro following a 6 month implementation.
The Bethlehem campus had 180 paper forms with a multi-disciplinary team & an electronic medication management system. The Project took a total of 6 months with the development of 83 electronic Apps, these Apps encompass all clinical activities within the hospital & is an end to end solution.
It will go into detail on the steps taken to this point and what the future holds for the partnership, including details on Phase 2 and Phase 3 an electronic bed chart and a full EMR for one of Calvary's largest hospitals.
