LauraLynn Children's Hospice, Dublin is Ireland's first dedicated Children's Hospice. Prior to VItro, LauraLynn were using a completely paper based system to capture administrative and clinical data. Following a four month implementation LauraLynn now have a patient & user centric EMR and they are experiencing the benefits in terms of improved safety, decreased administration time and clinical impact in terms of improved patient care.
“Vitro has allowed us to reduce patient re-admission times up to 22%, any only a couple of months later this has now been reduced up to 50%. This time saving has a major benefit to our children, their parents and guardians and their care givers. Stress, administrative burden and clinical risk have all been impacted and reduced”. Kerry McLaverty, Clinical Services Manager, Laura Lynn, Ireland Children’s Hospice.
