Autumn is traditionally the season for re-certification of our QMS at Vitro Software. We undergo regular audits for the internationally recognised ISO 9001:2015 standard by an independent certification company. This is to ensure our quality management system is operating at its best. Our QMS acts as a framework to ensure we deliver the best possible service to our clients, so we are delighted when we receive independent validation of our systems. As 2020 has been the year of going virtual, our team and the independent auditors worked together this year to remotely go through the auditing process, and we are delighted to receive certification until 2023.
A company’s quality management system covers all internal processes and how to make them more efficient through measurement and evaluation. The best measure of quality in an organisation is clear evidence of continuous improvement across all services. ISO 9001 is based on the plan-do-check-act methodology and provides a process-oriented approach to documenting and reviewing the structure, responsibilities, and procedures required to achieve effective quality management in an organisation.
